Julie does a little of everything and has been with the firm since the early days. She graduated in 1992 from Hinds Community College in Business/Micro Computer studies. With a recommendation from the dean, Julie interviewed and took the job with Randy and has been with the firm ever since. Her skills and responsibilities have grown as Mascagni & Company, Inc. has added staff and clients.
While she still takes care of the nuts-and-bolts of running the office — all the details — Julie is also a key player in implementing clients' financial plans. Her years of hands-on assistance helped her earn her Registered Para-Planner designation through studies with the College of Financial Planning in 1999. Julie's duties also include processing the necessary documents for assisting in the implementation of client plans, transfers, direct rollovers, insurance, and other client needs. And on top of this, she also helps maintain and organize regulatory compliance recordkeeping for the company.
Having found a rewarding career for herself, Julie works closely with new employees and interns in an effort to train them in financial planning basics and office management. Her fulfillment in working at Mascagni & Company comes from the many experiences she has helping those who are going through "life changes." The reward is when clients experience the relief of getting their financial house in order Ñ whether it is beginning to draw a monthly retirement income or completing the mountains of paperwork required upon a spouse's separation due to death or divorce. Bottom line... she enjoys helping clients, and in Julie's own words, "I feel blessed to have the personality and skills to connect with each client no matter what their needs are. It is very rewarding to see our clients feel confident with our firm and consider each of us their friends."
