Karin R. Cummins, 
Registered Paraplanner

Karin received her B.A. in Art from Mississippi College, and as part of MC’s London Semester Program, she spent a semester studying art in London before graduating in 1995. In 1998, Karin completed a master’s degree in world mission and evangelism at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Shortly after joining Mascagni and Company in 2004, Karin earned her Registered Paraplanner designation through correspondence studies with the College of Financial Planning, establishing for herself a foundation of the practical knowledge of all aspects of the financial services industry.

The opportunity to chat with clients who call or come by the office, continual work on client updates, verifying transactions, maintaining data in management software—each responsibility keeps Karin involved in the personal aspects of financial planning. And having face-to-face contact with clients is quite a change from the technical administrative work she did in previous jobs; however, it's a change she highly values and enjoys. What Karin enjoys most about working at Mascagni & Company is the personal attention paid to each client and her contribution to the Mascagni team:
